FOR USA USE ONLY - Main Unit: The main unit houses a 3-disc MusicBank CD changer, AM/FM tuner and preamplifier. Function control buttons are arranged conveniently on the top panel. A front window allows you to see the operation of the changer, which can be illuminated subtly in blue or green.
The MusicBank changer needs no magazine, and is as easy to load as a single-disc CD player. It permits fast, safe disc handling and never touches the disc's playing surface. The changer allows full control over playback functions, including all-disc memory play, random play, all-repeat and memory-repeat play.
Nakamichi's AM/FM tuner provides for presetting of 10 AM and 20 FM stations as well as convenient preset scan or seek tuning. A high-performance quartz synthesis tuning system provides stable, high-quality reception.
Easel-styled supports allow SoundSpace 5 to be angled when free standing. Keyholes are provided on each unit for wall mounting. - System Expansion: Analog inputs and outputs, plus an optical digital output, provide interface options
- Disc Loading Slot: All control functions and disc loading slot are located on top of the main unit
- Speakers: Left and right speakers have been developed especially for this system using Nakamichi's extensive expertise in high-end audio systems. The speakers incorporate their own power amplifiers, and each has a 2.5cm semi-dome type tweeter and a 20cm cone-type midrange/bass driver.
Power amplifiers are individually optimized for the speakers they drive, permitting superb reproduction of stereo images and wide dynamic range. Time delay has been eliminated throughout the frequency range to realize clean, powerful sound previously unimaginable in a compact system.
Remote Controls: For easy remote control operation of basic functions, a compact simple remote is supplied. In addition, a full-function main remote is also provided. |
