It&#146s hard to believe that four years have passed since Microsoft introduced the original Xbox in 2001, but now the Xbox 360 has arrived. The next generation of consoles is upon us, and Microsoft has jumped the gate by launching its newest console... Microsoft isn't trying to establish itself as a player in the video game market. It wants to dominate the industry. Sony and Nintendo, good luck keeping up.

The Xbox 360 was the first Next-Generation console, launched in November of 2005. Unlike most other things, consoles indeed improve with age, because the game get better and more plentiful. This is definitely tru of the Xbox 360 console... If you are a gamer, this is an obvious must-have. The next generation of gaming and entertainment is here.

Well, I finally took the leap into the next generation of game consoles. Last month Microcenter was offering a $100 rebate on Xbox 360 consoles. So I booked it to Cambridge and picked one up just a few weeks before Christmas. It's now the end of January... With Halo 3 looming, the console arms race just got real interesting.

If you got the money and want the next generation then be sure to hunt the Xbox 360 down.

No. I am not a gamer. I am the buyer of the game systems as a mom of boys who like to have what is hot - like Xbox 360. I bought two PS game players. Each lasted just a little over a year and over the warranty time. I thought I'd switch brands,... Xbox 360 has been a mess from the start and only more annoying as the months go by.
