SoundSpace 3 is the ideal system for the bedroom, office, workshop or kitchen. SoundSpace 3 is comprised of three identically sized chassis. The main unit houses the CD player, AM/FM tuner, a high-performance speaker drive unit, a clock display and all necessary function controls. The companion unit provides another speaker drive unit for stereophonic reproduction as well as the system's power amplifiers, a clock display and alarm snooze bar. The third enclosure contains a subwoofer speaker that augments the system with extra punch and depth for the widest frequency response and dynamic range.There are two individually controlled alarm clocks, each with a snooze bar, and remote control operation. Main Unit The main unit's lid, which is opened for disc loading, is motor-driven for sophisticated operation with a high-precision feel. A high-performance quartz synthesis tuner ensures precise and stable drift-free radio reception. The radio has 10 AM and 20 FM station presents with tuning options such as seek and preset scan for convenient enjoyment of radio broadcasts. Clock and Alarm Functions SoundSpace 3's large clock display automatically adjusts for contrasting brightness depending on the room's ambient lighting conditions. The companion unit's display can be defeated as well. The time indication display can be set for 12-hour or 24-hour readout. The two clocks have independent, programmable alarms with a five-second ramp-up in volume to wake you gently. Snooze bars on both units allow six minutes of tone interruption before the alarm resumes. A sleep timer, activated by remote control, allows for system shutdown in intervals up to two hours. The main unit has a user-friendly layout for frequently used control functions. Remote Controls: The system's IR-type micro-remote control permits the operation of all SoundSpace 3 features and functions from a distance.
