I used to own a Hitachi bread maker and basically ran it to destruction with nearly 700 pounds of flour. Its been a few years now without a bread machine and I had been feeling like Id like to have one again. I saw the Cuisinart CBK-200 Bread Maker... Easy to use and easy to make good home made bread.

Our old 2 lb Black and Decker finally died after 10 years (yes 10) and 100&#146s of loaves. We liked the look of the Cuisinart and thought the convection feature would be interesting. We have only had it for a month (approximately 6 to 7 loaves) and so... Looks great, nice baking, concerns about longevity.

My old Black&Decker broke down after five years of almost daily bread making. I bought my Cuisinart CBK-200 based on a previous review and considering the price was expecting something substantially better than the B&D one. I was severely disappointed... Don't buy it. If you did, take it back. If you can't, sell it used. If you can't sell it, at least it's stainless so makes good scrap.
