Kit Includes: Sigma SA-7 SLR Camera Features Full fledged and easy to use In spite of its, lightweight and ultra-compact body (Dimensions: Width 5.2 inch (132.5mm), Height 3.6 inch (91.5mm), thickness 2.7 inch (69.5mm) and 13.9oz (395gr) weight, the SA-7 camera features versatile functions for taking beautiful pictures. The SA-7 is a full-fledged, single-lens reflex camera that is rugged, versatile and easy to use for beginners to photo enthusiasts. It employs AF Cross Sensor Adopting an AF-cross sensor in the center of the viewfinder, the camera has fast focusing capability and is easy to use. The SA-7's autofocus system also features a predictive AF function in the Continuous AF Mode, that lets the photographer capture a moving subject in sharp focus. This ensures optimum focus when taking pictures of subjects moving towards or away from you at constant speed. It will latch onto subjects between infinity and 26.4 feet (8 meters) moving as quickly as 30 miles per hour (50 kilometers per hour), up from 25 miles per hour (42 kilometers per hour). Shooting can begin, after just three settings of the camera. The camera automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture, based on the brightness of the subject, to ensure optimum exposure in [P] Program Auto. The image is divided into 8 segments, and the light intensity of each segment is measured independently. An optimum exposure is calculated based on the information obtained by this 8-segment evaluative metering. In Single AF-Mode, pressing the shutter button halfway down starts the camera operation. The focus lock (AF lock)/AE lock function is activated to lock the focus on the subject and then picture can be taken by pressing the shutter button all the way down. Settings on the camera can be easily changed, for more advanced photography. Most functions can be easily set by using the FUNC (function) button and the Command Dial. Since complicated settings can be easily made with these controls, the photographer can concentrate on taking pictures Easy to use Command Dial. When Program Auto mode is used, turning the Command dial activates temporarily Aperture-Priority auto mode (Program Shift). The command dial also allows the setting of various functions when used in conjunction with other dials or function buttons. Since shutter dial and mode selector are located in the same area, choosing the desired settings is very convenient and smooth. Internal Lens Motor (HSM-equip) for super fast, noiseless autofocus operation. An AF internal lens motor drive provides the best performance for AF operation of a lens. Thus, AF internal lens motor drive of the Sigma system ensures ideal focusing operation for more than 40 different types of Sigma lenses including hypersonic motor (HSM) lenses. Use of Sigma lenses equipped with a hypersonic motor (HSM) ensures high speed focusing with minimal operating sound. The continuous AF Mode lets enables the photographer to capture a moving subject in sharp focus. This ensures optimum focus when taking pictures of moving subjects moving towards or away from you at constant speed. It will latch onto subjects between infinity and 26.4 feet (8 meters) moving as quickly as 30 miles per hour (50 kilometers per hour), up from 25 miles per hour (42 kilometers per hour). Drive Dial Setting Many important functions of the camera can be operated easily with the multi functional Drive Dial. The drive dial can be used as the main switch of the camera, and it is also possible to choose the continuous shooting at 1.5 frames per second [Continuous Shooting]. At a distance from the camera, the shutter can be released with 2 or 10 seconds delay [Self-timer]. With automatic shooting of three frames, different exposure level settings can be done [Auto Bracketing]. With the mirror up, it is possible to minimize the vibration due to mirror movement [Mirror lock-up]. By not advancing the film after taking a picture, a single frame can be exposed multiple times, [Multiple Exposures]. Built-in flash for perfect indoor shooting. The built-in flash employs a TTL auto light control system covering the angle of 28mm lens with a Guide Number 40/ft (12/m) ISO 100. When flash is required for indoor shooting due to insufficient light, the flash indicator in the viewfinder blinks. When the flash is used to take a picture of people, the red-eye reduction mode minimizes the red-eye phenomenon. - In order to see the composition through viewfinder clearly is possible to adjust the viewfinder Diopter adjustment over a range of ± 1.5 Diopt.
- 3 Metering Systems (8-Segment Evaluative Metering, Area Metering, Average Metering).
- Preview Function to confirm depth of field.
- 30 - 1/2000 sec shutter speed range
- External Flash, Electronic Flash EF-500 ST / EF-500 Super, Flash EF-430 ST / EF-430 Super are available
